    Drive to Lower Manhattan where first Jewish service in New Amsterdam met in 1653 (Stone Street) ( OPTIONAL)

  • Hour: 11:00am

    Drive around and see sites of the Jewish Daily Forward and Straus Square; Educational Alliance, Garden Cafeteria where Leon Trotsky and Fidel Castro ate !

  • Hour: 11:15am Visit an 1851 Synagogue

    ”Angel Orensanz” where Matthew Broderick & Sarah Jessica Parker were married; classic temple designed like the Cathedral of Cologne in Germany; Bill Clinton, Lady Gaga, P Diddy and John Edwards spoke & performed there !!

    See the RED SQUARE Clock and take home or sample Yonah Shimmel’s Knishes (Best in the world!) 12:00 Lunch (Many choices) KATZ’S Deli option

  • Hour: 1:15 Option: Lower East Side Tenement Museum tour

    GO BACK IN TIME TO 1916 and meet & visit a cold water tenement apartment. Experience what is was like!!

  • Hour: 3:30 Stop at “Economy Candy” OLD TIME CANDY STORE!

    Remember the wax bottles, candy cigarettes, wax lips, Dots on the paper, and all the candies that you ate as a child !!
